After winning a $500,000 reward in the Michigan Lottery's Ruby Red Wild Time instant game, an Oxford woman lost control of her emotions.
The Wild Time games are something that Brandi Chislett-Barnes, 35, and her husband enjoy playing. "We bought two Wild Time tickets at the gas station and scratched them when we got in the car.
When I realised I had won $500,000, I sobbed and screamed. When I revealed the winning reward amount to my family, they all cheered! The money we won means the world to our family and couldn't have come at a better time.
Chislett-Barnes purchased her winning ticket from the Oxford BP station at 721 South Lapeer Road.
Chislett-Barnes stated that she intends to use the money to purchase a property and save the rest after travelling to the lottery's headquarters to accept her reward.

The Wolverine FLL lottery club, which won a $1.05 billion jackpot in March 2021, was the latest Michigan player to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot. The group intends to support the neighbourhood with their wins.
Although they were fortunate winners, it is a good idea for players to verify their tickets right away because a $1 million winner sold in Warren in 2021 went unclaimed. Instead, the funds were transferred to the state's Education Assistance Fund.
